It was only a matter of time, right? Joanna Gaines has partnered with York Wallcovering for her first wallcovering collection aptly named Magnolia Home. This new wallpaper collection offers 16 signature designs in multiple colorways, with the core of the collection in neutral, black, and white.
The designs and colors in this collection reflect Joanna’s very approachable style to decorating that we see on her TV show Fixer Upper. Patterns include shiplap, blueprints, quiet polka dots, vintage farm toile, botanicals, 1930s newsprint and a watercolor buffalo check.

Even as the cold weather begins to hit, there’s nothing more beautiful than interior décor that is stylish and chic, and even brings a hint of lush nature indoors. We’re not talking plants that you have to care for every day, but stunning wallpapers that bring the outdoors inside.
Nature has been a strong influence and source of inspiration for decor this past year. The beautiful botanicals, fabulous ferns, and pretty palm leaves have seen a resurgence in popularity. For example, Goa (below), a stunning pattern named after the beautiful beach town in India that has colorful buildings and palm trees, and at one time had wild cows roaming freely along its beaches.

For those of you who survived the 80s decorating palette, it may be difficult for you to think you’d ever plaster another room with wallpaper. Remember the flowery patterns and the bold (let’s call them vivid) colors? Yikes, I think we all still remember some atrocious patterns in bedrooms, kitchens and dining rooms across the Twin Cities.
