Bachman's Holiday Ideas House 2016

Guest Bedroom – I’d love to see this at night with the overhead light turned off and the headboard lights on.

Visiting the Bachman’s Holiday Ideas House is a perfect zen way to ease into the holiday season. A mixture of old, new, and repurposed, the Bachman’s design team brilliantly transforms the family home with the change of seasons. The Ideas House offers all kinds of inspiration from gift ideas, table settings, and decorating ideas for inside and outside of your home. An added bonus for me was a room painted in my new favorite color – pink.

The Holiday Ideas House 2016 theme  is “Winter’s Frost  & Glow” with the following key trends:

  • Glowing Lights – Illuminate the season with a magical glow of string lights, candles, and lanterns.
  • Birch – Embrace the beauty of nature with birch details found throughout the house.
  • Mixed Metals – A mix of galvanized metals, gold, and silver find a perfect match to add elevated sophistication.
  • Plaid Patterns – Cozy layers of buffalo plaid pillows and accents transform the home into a welcoming space.

Behind that wonderful black and white photo is a wall-mounted TV. Made from salvaged wood.  Love the wallpaper. A subtle, good looking plaid which reminds me of Ralph Lauren in design and color, but at a better price point.

This would be so easy to make!
