Navy blue is incredibly versatile. Whatever mood you’re looking to create, you can likely do it with navy blue. A navy accent wall can add depth to a small room, or you can use it when you’d like to go dark, but not quite black. If you need some navy blue inspiration, here are four different ways you can design with navy blue.

Navy and White Means Crisp and Preppy

Looking to create a bright and fresh mood in your room? Navy blue and bright white is a great way to do that.

You can also use navy blue and white to create a maritime feel:

Go Modern and Energetic with Navy and Brights

Bright colors can be tricky – there is a delicate balance between a splash of color and overwhelming to the eye. Navy blue contrasts well with bright colors, leaving a room with a modern and energetic feel.

Navy blue and bright pink are a great way to make your daughter’s bedroom both feminine and classy:

Explore the World with Indigo

The traditional Japanese shibori cloth used an indigo dye, a technique that later spread to Indian and South American cultures. This indigo-navy appears in many different cultural designs, which makes it a great color to use when you’re looking for a more Bohemian feel.
