Friday Finds:  At The Fargodome

With spring right around the corner (we hope), this is a great time to dream about design ideas –  for the inside or outside of your home. And if you live in North Dakota or Northern Minnesota, the Fargodome is a great place to jump-start your imagination this weekend. The Red River Valley Home & Garden Show is at the Fargodome, Feb. 27-March 1, and Hirshfield’s will be there in Booth #1160.

The Red River Valley Home & Garden Show features products and trends in the building industry, with exhibits that include:

  • Interior design
  • Remodeling
  • Landscaping
  • Heating and cooling
  • Garages
  • Financial institutions
  • Home products

Visit Our Booth

The Hirshfield’s booth will showcase our Hirshfield’s line of paint, Hunter Douglas window treatments, and our Premiere Collection of window treatments.

Interested in painting furniture? We have a dresser painted to display different looks achieved through the Cottage Paint process. We have  display from Benjamin Moore with color trends for  2015, and just for NDSU Bison fans, you can see a sample of epoxy floor coatings in green and gold for garage floors and man caves.

We’re also excited to show off a Toy Story roller shade, similar to this one featuring Disney’s Frozen. A fun and interesting way to highlight our ability to customize roller shade window treatments for both residential and commercial applications.

Expert Advice

The booth will be staffed with Shannon Scarrella and Jessica Everson, who are both well-versed in window treatment and color consulting, in addition to a rotation of store staff over the weekend. We will be holding a drawing for a free $150 In-Home Color consultation for each day at the show.

The home show is open the following hours:

  • Friday 3 – 9 p.m.
  • Saturday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Sunday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

HGTV’s Kimberly Lacy has seminars scheduled for each of the 3 days, and there will be a large LEGO competition on Saturday.

Admission is $10, but you can get a coupon for $1 off the admission price by clicking here.
