Brazilian Color Inspiration

There’s currently a lot of attention on Brazil, with the World Cup in full swing and the 2016 Summer Olympics on deck. Whether or not you’re a soccer fan, if you like things with a tropical flair, Brazilian colors might inspire you to add pizzazz to your home.

Vivid colors remind you of the tropics. In small spaces, an intense color can have big impact, like in this bathroom.

You could also use a neutral paint or a textured wall covering, then incorporate pops of color that remind you of South America.

You can also use different colors in your home that are tropics inspired and flow from one space to the next. This home uses mustard yellow and brick red—warm colors that give the space an exotic élan.

Minnesota may be far from the equator, but paint can bring the feel of the tropics closer. If you’re inspired by Brazilian décor, you might consider adding pops of color in your home for that South American zest. As they say in Portuguese, Muito quente! Very hot!
