{friday finds: dash & albert rug company}

The gang at Hirshfield’s Design Resource are rolling out the red (striped) carpet for a new line. They’re super excited to share the news that you can order Dash & Albert Rugs through the showroom.

Dash & Albert have been designing amazing rugs for the past 10 years. Love this description found on their website: Spirited and well-bred, these rugs are the smart solution for floors pining for personality. Agree, agree, and agree!

Stripes are a Dash & Albert favorite

The showroom doesn’t carry inventory on the rugs, but samples and catalogs are available. Sampling ranges from cotton flatweaves, indoor/outdoor, hooked, needlepoint and more. Dash & Albert have a fantastic website showing awesome rugs, pillows, throws, poufs and Woufs. Julia (design studio trend spotter) mentioned  Dash & Albert rugs coordinate nicely with the Barrier Island and Surya lines.

Dash & Albert falls under the Annie Selke Companies umbrella along with the Pine Cone Hill. If you’re not familiar with Pine Cone Hill, it’s a higher-end bedding and linens company. Distinctive patterns and bright colors are a defining Pine Cone Hill look, and as you see, they do a lovely job with “subtle sophistication.” The design studio also sells Pine Cone Hill products.

Fun Fact: Annie Selke named her company after two of her dogs. Dash was the first Clumber Spaniel she owned and Albert (in heaven now) was a funny Basset Hound that helped her daughter learn how to walk!

I hope your weekend is as colorful as Dash & Albert Rugs.
