The Roman shade and valance are the same Kravet fabric carried over from the sofa. Lindsey Coral Harper, the designer, uses a valance over the Roman shade so she ”can put the shades closer to the ceiling, pulling your eye up and makes the ceiling seem higher.” Notice how she runs the valance fabric horizontal and the pattern on the Roman shade runs vertical. Nice contrast.
The word on the street is all the furniture and accessories from the Hirshfield’s Design Studio’s October trip to High Point should be arriving in a couple of weeks. Exciting business.
